This 1939 Ford Convertible Coupe was taken to R. A. Snively Designs for a convertible top and interior restoration. Some work had already been performed by others which required several areas to be taken apart and restored correctly. The beautiful black Ford now sports a Lebaron Bonney interior and top that compliments the rest of the car's restoration.
Both the interior and rumble seat areas now have the original correct type upholstery and trim. The tan interior looks great with the slick black exterior and the faux wood dash / garnish moldings. The front seat required extensive restoration and some of the details can be seen at this link.
Bob Snively takes great pride in his work and it shows on this convertible top. Attention to all the correct details go into each of his installations and this original type is no exception.
Black canvas with red leather binding trim looks as modern today as it did when the car was new.
